Police revealed today that the driver of a car that came off the road and crashed into a tree was not insured.

Cambridgeshire fire and rescue and the East of England ambulance were called after the crash in the village of Yelling near St Neots.

A passenger in the car was taken to hospital but a police spokesperson confirmed that “thankfully his injuries are not thought to be serious.
