A 20-year-old man from Cambridge died after falling from a bridge over the northbound carriageway of the A11 at the junction for Fulbourn and Balsham on Saturday evening (22 February) at around 8.15pm.
Paramedics and officers attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police appeal for witnesses
Cambridgeshire police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man, either walking near the bridge or in the surrounding area, to come forward.
Sergeant Claire Marland said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the man, either walking to or in the vicinity of the bridge, to get in touch with us.”
Police are also seeking any dashcam footage that could help with the investigation.
