Police have launched a murder investigation following the fatal assault of a 20-year-old man in Mill Park, Cambridge, on the evening of 1 August.
Emergency services were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead. Police have since named 21-year-old Chaz Corrigan as a suspect in connection with the attack.
Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit are now urgently appealing for information to help trace Corrigan.
Detective Inspector Dale Mepstead said: “We are urgently trying to trace Chaz Corrigan and are asking the public for help. If you have seen him, know of his whereabouts, or have any information that could assist our investigation, please contact us immediately.

“We advise the public not to approach him but to call police if they see him.”
Corrigan is described as white, of slim build, and was last seen wearing a fluorescent jacket.
