A teenage girl has tragically been found dead after a car carrying five young people plunged into the River Nene near Wisbech.
Emergency services were called to North Brink, in Wisbech St Mary, at around 8.20pm on Tuesday (March 17) following reports that a vehicle had left the road and entered the water.
In an update issued at 5pm today, Cambridgeshire Police confirmed that specialist dive teams had recovered the body of a teenage girl from the नदी.
Searches are continuing for a teenage boy who remains unaccounted for.

Three other occupants — two girls and one boy — managed to escape the vehicle and were taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn with injuries described as non-life threatening.
A large emergency response has remained in place throughout the day, with police, fire and ambulance crews at the scene. North Brink is expected to remain closed for the rest of the day while investigations continue.
The vehicle is believed to have been carrying five teenagers aged between 16 and 18 at the time of the incident.
Police have reiterated that enquiries are ongoing and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage from anyone who was in the area last night.
