A shameless thief has been caught on camera carrying out a late-night raid — stealing a £2,000 electric bike from a car while the owner slept.
The bold break-in happened on Coneygree Road, Stanground, Peterborugh, between 11pm and 12:30am.
MIDNIGHT STRIKE
Under the cover of darkness, the suspect targeted a parked car — making off with a high-value electric bike and a North Face jacket in a matter of minutes.

But what he didn’t count on… was being filmed.
CAUGHT RED-HANDED ON CCTV
Clear CCTV images show the man believed to be behind the theft.

Now, the victim is urging the public to help identify him — saying someone, somewhere, will recognise the face caught on camera.
A COSTLY LOSS
The stolen bike is a MiRiDER electric model worth around £2,000 — and had only been bought weeks earlier.
Known for their UK-built quality and precision engineering, MiRiDER bikes don’t come cheap — making the theft all the more frustrating.
THE CLUE HE LEFT BEHIND
In a careless mistake that could prove crucial, the suspect left behind a lighter inside the vehicle.

The item has now been handed over to police as potential evidence.
POLICE INFORMED
CCTV footage and evidence is being passed to Cambridgeshire Police as enquiries continue.
DO YOU KNOW HIM?
The victim is now appealing directly to the public.

Because in cases like this, it only takes one person to recognise a face — and turn a crime into an arrest.
