‘In for a Penny’ Christmas special filmed in city

TV game show host Stephen Mulhern was spotted in Peterborough today filming a Christmas special.

His ‘In for a Penny’ game show is in the city this week and today he set up stall inside the grounds of Peterborough Cathedral.

A handful of onlookers wandered into the cathedral although the producers had already lined up the contestants to take part.

ITV describes the show as where Stephen “hits the streets with his epic portable game show.

“Watch unsuspecting members of the public take on unusual challenges, as they each compete for cash”.

Earlier this year the TV channel was besieged with requests from viewers asking for the show to last longer than the 30 minutes they had allocated for it.
