At just before midnight four men with crowbars were disturbed attempting to enter Spar, in High Street, Sawston, the men made off empty handed in the white Ford Focus ST.

Shortly before 1am Co-op, in North Street, Burwell, was targeted.

A window was smashed, and a number of items were stolen.

DI Tom Rowe of Cambridgeshire Police said: “We believe these three offences (Burwell, Sawston and Isleham) are linked. I would urge anyone who witnessed any of the incidents to get in touch with us today.”
