Man, 36, in court after Cambridgeshire betting shop robbery

A 36-year-old man is appearing in court today following a robbery at a Cambridgeshire betting shop last week.
David Edge, 36, of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
He is due to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court today (3 July).

The charges follow a robbery at S&D Bookmakers in Little Whyte, Ramsey, at about 1.20pm on June 29.
Police said no one had been hurt in the robbery but the staff and customers involved had been left incredibly shaken by the incident.
