Police issued images of a man they want to question following two serious attacks in Wisbech. “Do you recognise this man?” said a plea by Policing Fenland. “We want to speak to him in connection with two serious assaults in Wisbech.”
Both assaults took place on Saturday (4 November). In the first, which happened in the early hours of the morning at just before 3am, a 38-year-old man was attacked in Market Square.
In the second incident, a 19-year-old man was attacked at just after 3.20am outside the Nene petrol station on Lynn Road.
Both victims were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries and have now been discharged.
Anyone who recognises the man in the photos, or has any information, is urged to contact Cambridgeshire police via their web chat service: https://orlo.uk/Web-Chat_jrTTF quoting crime references 35/82448/23 and 35/82437/23.
Alternatively, call Cambridgeshire police on 101 if you do not have internet access. #SaferCambs
