A living history weekend is midway through in the Cambridgeshire Fens.

It includes skirmish and weapons demonstrations, have-a-go archery, battle recreations and lots more all the family can enjoy!

The Vikings have pitched up Flag Fen until Bank Holiday Monday evening, and families can enjoy this living history weekend with authentic Viking camps, have-a-go archery, watch battle re-enactments and lots more, all ages can enjoy.

The Viking Festival at Flag Fen includes

10am: Have a go archery opens

11am: In the encampment – Exploring a Viking grave

11.30am: In the encampment – Story telling for children

12.30pm: In the arena – Skirmish and weapons demonstrations

1pm: In the arena – Children’s battle

2pm: Archery range – Archery display (Duration 30 minutes. The Have a go archery will be closed during this display)

3.15pm: Have a go archery closes
