Marshall Motor Group has announced the planned closure of Marshall Nissan Cambridge, following a strategic review of its Nissan representation in Cambridgeshire. The dealership officially closed its doors on Friday 19 December 2025.
The decision forms part of a broader evaluation of the Group’s regional footprint and future business priorities. Marshall Motor Group has emphasised that the closure is limited to the Cambridge site only and does not impact its other Nissan dealerships across the UK.
Other Marshall Nissan Sites Unaffected
Marshall confirmed that its Nissan stores in Ashford, Dartford, Doncaster, Grantham, Leicester, Lincoln, Maidstone, Oxford and Reading will continue to operate as normal. Customers can access contact information; new car offers and approved used car listings through the Marshall Nissan website.
The Group has thanked customers for their loyalty and support over the years and encouraged them to continue their relationship with Marshall Nissan through its remaining network of dealerships.
Servicing, MOTs and Aftercare Support
For customers based in Cambridgeshire, Marshall Motor Group highlighted that servicing and MOT requirements can still be met locally via its sister company’s cinchServicing programme. This alternative ensures continued access to vehicle maintenance support despite the dealership closure.
Service Plans and Warranties Honoured
Marshall reassured customers that all existing service plans and warranties will remain valid:
- Marshall Service Plans will continue to be honoured at all Marshall Motor Group stores.
- Nissan Service Plans can be used at any Nissan network retailer.
- Marshall Warranties remain valid across all Marshall Motor Group locations.
- Nissan Manufacturer’s Warranties will continue to be covered throughout the Nissan retailer network.
Customers are also encouraged to consult the company’s Frequently Asked Questions for further guidance.
Looking Ahead
In a closing message, Stephen Trowell, Franchise Director for Marshall Nissan, thanked customers for their business and expressed optimism about welcoming them to other Marshall Nissan locations across the UK in the future.
