Motorcyclist killed last night in crash near Soham

A motorcyclist was killed last night following a crash on the A142 in Cambridgeshire.
The driver of a Volvo involved has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The crash happened near Soham.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police said: “At about 9pm we received reports of a collision between a Volvo XC90 and a Kawasaki motorcycle at the junction with Northfields Road.
“Officers and paramedics attended but the motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.”
A 56-year-old woman from Soham was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
She has since been released on bail until 10 May.
