Pedestrian killed on A11 after being hit by car

A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on the A11 in Cambridgeshire.
A red Jaguar XF was travelling south along the A11, between the junctions for the A14 and M11, when it struck a woman at about 10.40pm on Saturday (22 April).
The woman, who was in her 30s, died at the scene.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, remained at the scene and is assisting enquiries.
“Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the collision, or of the moments leading up to, or immediately after should tell us about it through the force website using reference 648 of 22 April, “ said a police spokesperson.
“Anyone without internet access should call 101 quoting the same reference.”
