A house in Peterborough has been closed as part of action to tackle drug dealing and associated criminal behaviour.
Following a successful application by the local Neighbourhood Support Team (NST) at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court on Monday (22 December), a full closure order was served on 80 Orchard Street, Woodston.
The order, which runs until 22 March, states the property is closed to everyone at all times and in all circumstances.

PC Charlie Adams, from the northern NST, said repeated efforts had failed to resolve the situation.
“Despite intervention and support offered to the tenant, issues have persisted, so further action had to be taken,” he said.
He added that drug dealing has a serious impact on neighbourhoods.
“Drug dealing can be extremely disruptive to the local community, and I hope this order shows residents that we take their concerns seriously and will monitor the address to ensure the order is adhered to.”
Police are urging anyone with information about breaches of the order to report it online at www.cambs.police.uk/report. Those without internet access are asked to call 101.
