Stay vigilant on our roads, is the message from Cambridgeshire police after releasing photos of an overturned HGV.
The vehicle overturned in Shelford’s Road, Earith, Cambridgeshire and the driver was treated for injuries that police say were not life changing.
“Although no offences were identified in this case, we would like to remind you to stay vigilant on the roads and prioritise the safety of yourself and others,” said a Cambridgeshire police post to Policing Huntingdonshire Facebook page.
“Our response officers swiftly attended the road traffic collision on Shelford’s Road in Earith last week, after an HGV overturned.
“Emergency services promptly arrived at the scene and worked together to get the driver out of the trapped vehicle.”
The statement added that the driver “was taken to hospital, where he received immediate medical attention upon arrival.
“Fortunately, the sustained injuries were not life changing.”
