Update:
A 15‑year‑old boy and an 18‑year‑old man arrested on suspicion of murder following the fatal stabbing of a 16‑year‑old boy in Peterborough remain in custody this morning.

The pair were arrested after the attack near the Orton Centre on Sunday evening (12 April). Detectives are seeking an extension to their custody time limit from magistrates today. Both remain at Thorpe Wood Police Station.
A 16‑year‑old girl from March has been charged with possessing a knife or bladed article in a public place. She is due to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on 13 May. She was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and has been released on conditional bail.
A 17‑year‑old girl from Peterborough, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has also been released on conditional bail until 8 July.

A post‑mortem examination is scheduled to take place tomorrow (15 April) at Peterborough City Hospital.
The police cordon has now been lifted, but officers remain in the area today carrying out inquiries. Detectives continue to appeal for information.
