A woman motorist has died six days after walking away seemingly uninjured after she ploughed through a fence and into a wall.
Police were called to reports of the crash, which involved a silver Vauxhall Astra, in Croft Holme Lane, at about 5am on Friday, 4 August.
They found a 52-year-old woman from Cambridge about 500 metres away who did not receive medical treatment.
However, she was found dead in her home on 10 August.
A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: “It is not known at this time whether her death is linked to the collision, but a post mortem examination is due to be carried out on a date to be set.
“No other vehicles are believed to have been involved.
“Anyone who witnessed the collision, or has information about it, should call 101 and ask to speak to a member of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting Operation Sidmouth.”
