Londis store at Soham hit by ram raiders
It is the latest in a spate of ram raids across Cambridgeshire.

Soham became the latest victim of ram raiders last night as a local Londis store was robbed – and again a JCB used to remove a cash machine. Damage to the Hall Street store is extensive.
Police have advised that the road will be closed “for the foreseeable future” at the junction with Hall Street and Townsend.
“It looks like someone has either crashed into the shop or pulled a cash machine out the wall,” said one resident.

In mid-October two stolen cars and a telehandler were used in a raid on the Spar at Bassingbourn.

And at the end of month four people used a stolen JCB digger to break into the Nationwide Building Society.
Again, the damage was extensive, and the branch has been temporarily closed.
