GALLERY: Peterborough Cathedral hosts Star Wars lightsaber spectacular
Be honest, who hasn’t dreamed of dressing up as your favourite Star Wars character and heading to a cathedral which is staging an exhibition containing no less than 120 items devoted to the movie franchise.

Peterborough Cathedral is currently hosting the Unofficial Galaxies exhibition and on Friday it took on an even more realistic (or should that be surrealistic) theme for a special visit by the East Midlands Garrison.
These are a group of dedicated costume enthusiasts who apart from the thrill of engaging in cosplay (that’s dressing up as a character from a film, book, or video game) also raise money for their chosen charity.

The exhibits include a life-size Land speeder bought from London’s Elstree Studios, a diverse collection of rare Star Wars toys and many other highly prized exhibits.
