Two firefighters plan to run a 50 mile ‘ultra marathon’ from Cambridge to Peterborough on Bank Holiday Monday.
Matt Woody Woodcock and Jordan Cadogan from Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue Service at Huntingdon will undertake the marathon run to raise money for Fire Fighters Charity.
The goal is to complete the 50-mile run From Cambridge To Dogsthorpe Fire Station in under 10 hours.
On their JustGiving page the two firefighters say: “This Is All To Raise Funds For The Fire Fighters Charity Who Do Amazing Work Supporting Fire Fighters And Their Families Across The Country.
“Thank You For Your Support.”
Jordan and Matt have been training hard ahead of Monday’s challenge!
And their enthusiasm and effort ahead of Monday’s challenge has not gone unnoticed.
They have already raised nearly two thirds of the £1,000 target they set for the run.
