The owners of a six-acre award glamping and outdoor events farm where a child of two was killed on Friday say they are “absolutely heartbroken”.

Isabella Tucker of Ronald Street, London, was struck by a vehicle at the Cambridgeshire holiday park but died later in hospital.

Isabella was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at King’s Lynn after the incident at about 6.45pm on Friday, August 25, at Horsley Hale Farm, Horsley Hale near Littleport where she died of her injuries.

Stuart and Steph Hatton and Ro Asplin bought the farm in January 2017 as a venue from which to offer events, glamping breaks and outdoor educational programs for schools and other youth organisations.

They describe Horsley Hale Farm as an ‘oasis in the Fens”’ but today were coming to terms with Friday’s tragedy.

“We are absolutely heartbroken at the loss of Isabella Tucker who tragically died after an incident at Horsley Hale Farm on Friday 25th August,” they said in a statement issued to their farm’s Facebook page.

“In partnership with guests staying with us at the time, we have set up a fund to buy and plant a tree in Isabella’s memory.”

In a tribute to her daughter, Vaida Sprainyte said: “A beautiful daughter and little sister. It’s so easy to love you. Loved you from first sight and will love you forever”.
