A county lines drug dealer has been jailed after police smashed the ‘zip’ drugs line during a dawn raid in Brampton. Officers carried out the early morning operation at Gladwin Crescent on 4 March as part of a week-long intensification campaign targeting county lines drug dealing.
During the raid, police uncovered crack cocaine and heroin worth more than £11,500, alongside a mobile phone linked to the ‘zip’ drugs line. Officers also seized more than £700 in cash.
Levi George, 21, of Kings Ripton Road, Sapley, was arrested at the address.

At Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday (7 May), George was sentenced to two years and seven months in prison after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.
Detective Constable Clair Godfrey, who investigated the case, said: “County lines drug dealing brings significant harm to our communities, and we are committed to tackling those responsible.
“This sentencing demonstrates that those involved in supplying drugs in Cambridgeshire will be identified, arrested and brought before the courts.
“The proactive work of our officers during this intensification week has removed dangerous substances from the streets and disrupted criminal activity in Huntingdon.”
