Police probe death of man found in Lincoln Road, Peterborough

Police remain outside a mid-terrace 10 bedroom HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) in Peterborough today after the discovery of a man’s body outside the house.

A tent has been placed outside the house on Lincoln Road and police officers have been seen entering the property but there is no indication at the moment that the house is linked to the deceased man.

Police have restricted access to the house as forensic science experts evaluate the scene.

And Cambridgeshire police maintain a strong presence at the house.

The property is situated close to local shops and is less than a mile from the city centre. The open spaces of Central Park are a short walk away.

A police spokesperson has confirmed they were just after 10am “today with reports of a sudden death in the street on Lincoln Road, Peterborough.

“Officers are at the scene”.
