Peterborough Positive, the city centre’s Business Improvement District (BID), has launched its 2025 Small Grant Scheme, offering up to £18,000 in total funding to support creative, innovative projects and events that will drive footfall and benefit city centre businesses.
Organisations, including limited companies, Community Interest Companies, charitable organisations and community benefit societies, can apply for grants of up to £3,000 with larger awards considered in special cases.
Successful projects must be delivered by March 2026, align with one or more of Peterborough Positive’s core priorities and demonstrate tangible benefits to city centre businesses.
The application window runs from Wednesday 7th May to Monday 28th May and successful applicants will be notified the week commencing Monday 9th June.
Projects will need to take place within the BID boundary area, support local businesses and, ideally, include match-funding. A post-project survey of attendees and businesses will help measure impact and gather learnings.
Pep Cipriano, Chief Operating Officer at Peterborough Positive, said:
“We’re thrilled to launch our Small Grant Scheme and are looking forward to receiving applications that are innovative, novel and unique – as well as from groups who want to grow what they may have historically organised in the city centre.
“These grants are about helping local organisations create memorable experiences that encourage increased dwell time and repeat visits, while supporting our retailers and showcasing everything the city centre has to offer.”
