Single file traffic as police await vehicle recovery

Drivers heading across or into Peterborough today have been held up by a car that overturned on Nene Parkway, just off the junction with Shrewsbury Avenue.

Many drivers heading along the Parkway diverted which took them onto Oundle Road and into the city.

The Parkway was reduced to single file traffic whilst police cordoned off one lane to attend to the vehicle that had overturned.

The driver of the car is not believed to have suffered injury.
