Man and woman charged ‘in connection’ with teenager murder

A man and a woman have been charged in connection with the murder of teenager Jesse Nwokejiobi.

Three teenagers arrested in connection with the murder have been released with no further action to be taken.

James Heath, 45, and Helen Heath, 36, both of Queens Close, Harston, have been charged with two counts of assisting an offender.

They have also been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

They are both due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on 16 February.

Three boys aged 14, 14 and 17 who were arrested in connection with Jesse’s murder on 19 November have had their bail cancelled and there will be no further action.

His mother Rita said of Jesse: “ You were my anchor, hope, strength, and support system I had and will always have until we meet again.

“I love the way to stood by us and blessed us with your beautiful smile until the unfortunate incident that whisked you away from us at a very tender age”.
