“How lovely is this,” says Wisbech Tweet after her visit to a wondrous Fenland pumpkin experience.

“As the sunflowers go past their best but still wave their heads up pop the pumpkins, let your children have fun inside the tunnels,” says Tweet.

“Then either choose a pumpkin from inside or even better let the walk through the pumpkin patch and pick their own.

It is open 10am-4pm, Thursday to Sunday, throughout October and can be found at the top of Church Road, Emneth.

The indoor and outdoor traditional pumpkin patch opened on October 6.

“Push the wheelbarrows around the largest patch in the area… the size of 2 football pitches,” says Fairview.

“We have a variety of pumpkin sizes, types & colours – monster pumpkins, white pumpkins, knobbly pumpkins, striped pumpkins, Cinderella pumpkins to name just a few
